Creative Partner @runwayml @pika_labs @morphaistudio | Emmy award winner | Professional Artist in film animation exploring Generative AI
I am a French-Canadian Illustrator and animator based in Panama, with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts majoring in cinema. Embracing the forefront of animation, I bring a fresh perspective to the industry, blending my experience with the latest AI technologies. With a career spanning over three decades and contributing to a diverse array of projects such as feature films, documentaries, television series, video games and advertisements, I have developed a unique way of fashioning a whimsical universe filled with fantasy and humor.
My film credits include Steven Spielberg's animated feature American Tail II: Fievel Goes West and The Village, an Oscar-nominated short animated film. I was also involved in the popular children's television series Arthur, which won three Emmy® Awards. Additionally, my illustrations have formed part of animated segments in documentaries for the Science Channel, Discovery Channel and National Geographic.
I am better known in the generative AI community and on social media as TrashCanRoxanne but my real name is Roxanne Ducharme. I am part of the exclusive "Creative Partners Program" (CPP) at Runway, one of the leading generative AI companies for motion.
During 2023, I dedicated myself to learning extensively about generative AI for images and videos. This period allowed me to gain hands-on experience with various applications and software, such as Midjourney and Runway ML. I became part of Runway's Creative Partners Program, a Super Collaborator with PikaLabs, and a beta tester for Haiper and Morph Studio. This experience has equipped me with a solid foundation in generative AI and its practical applications in the creative industry, preparing me to bring cutting-edge expertise to my future roles. My AI learning is an ongoing process, continuously expanding my technical skills and exploring innovative solutions to stay at the forefront of the field.
